R Street Station Workshops
A number of workshops were conducted in 2003 and 2004 to identify redevelopment strategies and improvements to the 13th and 16th Street Light Rail Stations. Many of the public comments and analysis obtained at these workshops were included into subsequent documents such as the CADA R Street Urban Design Plan. Additionally, the City of Sacramento, Regional Transit, and CADA secured a Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) Community Design Grant to implement many of the improvements identified in the 2003 16th Street Station Workshop.
